$TAPE is a single fungible coin of fixed supply, 1,000,000,000, minted on Robinhood Chain. It is the only way in. No presale, no allocation, no second coin.
Winding a ticker converts coin into machine. Each wind burns 300,000 $TAPE permanently and pays a 0.02 ETH surcharge. The burn is executed inside the wind instruction itself — the transaction is all-or-nothing, so the coin is destroyed before the machine exists. Only 3,333 tickers will ever be wound; a full fleet retires 999,900,000 $TAPE — essentially the entire supply reduced to machines.
All revenue converges on one pot:
The moment the pot clears 0.05 ETH, it is spent — all of it, in one purchase.
The pot buys Robinhood Chain tokenized equities in a fixed twelve-stop rotation, then returns to the top:
| Stop | Asset | Stop | Asset |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | NVDA — NVIDIA | 7 | MSTR — Strategy |
| 2 | AAPL — Apple | 8 | HOOD — Robinhood |
| 3 | TSLA — Tesla | 9 | COIN — Coinbase |
| 4 | SPY — S&P 500 | 10 | NFLX — Netflix |
| 5 | GME — GameStop | 11 | GLD — Gold |
| 6 | PLTR — Palantir | 12 | TAPE — buyback & burn |
Stop twelve buys $TAPE itself and burns it, closing the loop: the machines' own dividend wheel shrinks the coin that builds the machines.
Each purchase is divided equally per machine — not proportionally to anything. Ticker No. 1 and Ticker No. 3,333 receive the same print. Deliveries into each machine's vault are permissionless: one transaction per machine, and anybody may trigger them. Assets sit in the vault until the bearer withdraws.
The mechanism descends from QUOTRONS on Robinhood Chain (4,444 ERC-404 terminals) by way of OTC Desks on Solana (5,000 desks). TICKERS reaches one machine further back: Edison's Universal Stock Ticker, 1871 — the first machine that ever printed a price. The lineage is honored; the works are our own.
